Product Use

This 5 VDC Real Time Clock and Calendar Module is especially developed for Hobby use.

The Module only requires about 0.3mA at 5VDC.

The RTC IC (DS1302) located on the PCB is mounted in DIP socket and can be removed.

Precision timekeeping is assured by on board mounted crystal

Vcc Power Input Pin is connected to +5VDC that has a Common Ground with the Module Data and Control lines.

The Serial Data and RTC Control Inputs can be connected directly to any output pin of PARALLAX PROPELLER microcontroller without need for any resistors or Voltage translators.

The 5 VDC RTC Module is also Arduino Compatible.
