This Vehicle Sound for Pedestrians and Rear View System Controller Unit is especially developed for Automotive use.

This Controller Unit satisfies all the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 141, Minimum Sound Requirements for Hybrid and Electric Vehicles, as well as Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 111 Rear View.

The Controller Unit contains following:

1. Propeller 1 Microcontroller on Proto Board with USB
   
   
2. The VSP Amplifier Board with the custom IC (MRXVSP2D)
   
   
3. Custom Overlay Board (made to specific end customer specifications)

• Generates FMVSS #141 compliant sound
• Nominal Power Voltage 12 V
• Operates from 10 V to 16 V
• Output for two 4 or 8 Ohm Speakers
• FMVSS #141 compliant
• Thermal and Short-Circuit Protection with Auto Recovery Feature
• Sound Amplifier features efficient Class-D Operation
• Detects Vehicle Speed with use of Vss Sensor
• Four Automatically selected, Fixed Gain Settings sound output volume levels, based on vehicle speed
• Switches on the Rear View Camera when R control signal is present
• Turns On the Back Up Lights when R control signal is present
• Turns On automatically the Brake Lights when vehicle is decelerating or is stationary (optional)
• Generates custom message on Monitor when vehicle is not in Reverse (optional)
