Vehicle Sound for Pedestrians ( VSP ) is a sound system that is required in USA by FMVSS #141 to be installed on all Electric Vehicles (EV) or Hybrid-Electric Vehicles.
The OKA VSP is the only "modular" system that can be installed on any vehicle and is completely independent, thus no interface with CAN is necessary.
While other CAN based system can take months of development and testing, the OKA VSP can be customized to any vehicle in less than one week, and the required compliance testing can be achieved in just one day.
